Faith Deposits {2012}

With much anticipation and excitement, the Michigan Alexanders are looking forward to 2013.  BIG things are in store.  FUN events are ahead.  LIFE is going to be lived with fullness and purpose.   We know there will be tough days and storms ahead as well.  When those grey clouds roll in, I will be happy to pull from the faith account that God has allowed us to deposit into during this past year.

Faith Deposits 2012

Strength for Jason to go to job he hated every day.  Micah turned 8.  The blessing of watching 4 healthy kids play in the snow they loveCarli and Ella turned 3.  Casting Crowns date night with my Love.  Mercy and healing of my dear friend, Erin. A faith community that rallied when times got tough.  A spring break mini vacay to restore the spirit.  Peace when Jason quit his job without another lined up.  A new job for Jason and we never missed a paycheck. A fabulous Florida vacation that reminded us how important family really is.  The legacy of Grandma Huls.  The strength/ability to finish another (painful) race.  Friends that provided immense encouragement.  Kiddos that made me laugh and keep focused on what REALLY mattered.  11 years with a GREAT man.  Christian friends and Godly examples building into the lives of my little people.  Micah seeing the value of making his faith HIS own. Addison turned 6. Friends and Girls Nights.  A northern Michigan retreat (x3!). Another new job for Jason...his third in a year but the BEST FIT EVER! The blessings of Thanksgiving.  The ability to say "no".  A grim reminder that life is precious and needs to be treasured.  The humility of Christmas.  The joy and anticipation of the new year.

I know I'm leaving out many other "minor" deposits as this year has been a year full of growing, learning, and blessings.  God has been incredibly faithful and has allowed us to build up quite a rich faith account.  We are so thankful.

Running into the new year with hearts wide open... Welcome 2013!
