Addi/Daddy Date Day...

...Try saying that 5 times fast! :) Saturday was a busy day for the Alexander house. I had a baby shower to go to, Micah spent the day at a carnival and play with Nana & Papa, and Jason and Addison had a date day. Micah is going to Meijer Gardens to see the butterflies on Wednesday and Addi kept asking to go too. She and Jason have needed some one on one time so I sent them away to look at the butterflies... Kill two birds with one stone right? When she got there she must have been less than impressed with all the hype we had given it because her first response was, "I want to go to the zoo." Jason said that made several people around them chuckle and made him feel he better step it up a notch or this was going to be a long trip. :) They ended up having a great time and Addi LOVED the children's garden more than anything else.

Addi and "the horse that weighs 40 pounds"

She kept telling me about this horse. She told me it weighed 40 pounds. She asked Jason if it was a nice horse or a mean horse. Too cute! I love that we have her standing by it alone. Someday we'll be able to see how much she's grown just by looking at this picture. She is SO tiny next to that thing!

If you could zoom in on this picture, you could see that Addison is making a mean face too (Jason told her to, she wasn't in a bad mood). There are definitely days when this picture describes Addi to a T. :)
