Happy Birthday {Carli & Ella Style}

As mentioned in previous posts, we don't do big parties for our kids unless they are key years (like next year when the girls turn 5).  This year we had a simple party with a couple of the girls' close friends and family.  Cake, snacks, and a few games made for a great time for everyone.  Here are the photo highlights of another Alexander birthday celebration : twin style!

Five million shots later this is the best pic we have...
For their special birthday outing we took the girls to Build a Bear.  We've never done this with Micah or Addison so it was super special to them.  And in true girl fashion they love the mall so pretzels and a carousel ride were simple, exciting pleasures.

Love these little big girls!

For their birthday party the girls originally wanted a Dora and Tinkerbell cake.  I would have gladly obliged if it was really something they loved but it was completely random.  So after much chatting and tossing out ideas, they settled on these PINK and PURPLE doll cakes.  They loved them and I did too.  They were so easy to make!

Whew!  Birthday season done!  Now we "relax" until August when the crazy starts all over again!
