Of course Easter isn't all seriousness in our house. The day began with Micah and Addison bounding out of bed to check out their Easter baskets and hunt for eggs. They had a great time discovering the sweets and surprises that awaited them. The egg hunt was a riot as Addi was pretty much clueless during the whole thing. We can't decide if its her blond roots coming out or if she was still sleeping but she couldn't find an egg without help if her life depended on it. We just laughed and laughed. After help from Micah, all the eggs were found, the loot counted and it was off to get ready for church. They had to get ready quickly because we have an Easter tradition of going out for donuts before the church service. This year, because of the twins, Micah, Addison, and Jason all went out to get the donuts and brought them back home to eat. After our donut breakfast it was off to church for a WONDERFUL service full of worship and good teaching. Then it was off to Mom and Bob's for a delightful dinner and more fun. The kids got to hunt eggs here as well (which, by the way, Addi was much better at this time) and had fun discovering Nana had put MONEY in all their eggs (that's what Nana's are for)! After dinner it was home for naps and a relaxing evening at home. Jason took the kids outside in the evening and they hunted eggs twice more - by this time Addi was a pro! So fun! Enjoy some snapshots of our day!
