Christmas Eve
We celebrated Christmas with Mom and Bob on Christmas Eve this year. It was a fun way to spend the evening (especially since the weather was so horrible that it prevented us from doing our traditional "Christmas Light Drive" around town or attending our church's Christmas Eve service). We had a great dinner and then opened gifts. It was so fun to watch the kids get so excited about what they were opening. Both my kids are very much into pretend play and dressing up these days so "Nana" made sure to get them many costumes to play with. We now have a doctor's uniform, two chef's outfits, a cowboy getup, and a princess ensemble. Very FUN! I put some pictures of them trying them out below...
Addison as Cinderella
My two adorable children! Who would have thought that moments before Addison was NOT going to let me take her picture. "I said NO, Mom". Good thing 2 year olds change their minds quickly! :)
A family tradition we have at our house on Christmas Eve is getting to open one present before bed... Its always pjs but the kids haven't caught on to this yet...
Here they are! All dressed in new pjs and ready for bed. Micah was so excited for the next morning that he promised he would go to sleep really fast so that morning would come quick. These two are so much fun! Just think next Christmas will be CRAZY with two almost one year olds, a 3 year old and an almost 6 year old... Where does the time go??
