Christmas Day

Merry Christmas!! Christmas day got off to a bright and early start at 5:30 am. At least that is the time Micah wanted the day to start. Jason went up and said it wasn't time to get up yet and bought us another hour and half of sleep. At 7 both kids were awake and there was no stopping them from coming down stairs. Its so fun to watch them get so excited. We read the Christmas story and opened presents. Jason and I then spent hours opening all the "toy packaging" so that the kids could actually enjoy the gifts they had gotten. We enjoyed a very slow moving day, playing with new gifts and enjoying each other's company. The kids were even able to take a nap before going to the Huls family Christmas dinner later in the evening. It was a wonderful day full of great memories! I hope your Christmas was as enjoyable as ours!

Addison and Micah listening to the Christmas story and patiently waiting to open gifts.

Check out that beautiful new kitchen behind Micah... It was gift to all four kids. :) Jason spent 5 hours during the course of the week putting it together. The kids love it and it keeps them busy for quite some time!
Jason reading the Christmas story.
We do this every year before presents. Its a great way to keep the focus on the REAL reason for Christmas and gifts. I'm sure he'll appreciate me posting this great shot of him. :)
Addi and her Daddy playing in the kitchen. I told you it was loved by all! :)

Chef Addison!

Micah got a Playmobile castle set and he LOVES it. This toy has gotten so much use since it was put together. You should hear some of the battles that take place in our living room!

Again, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
