Friday it rained here all day so by the time Friday evening rolled around and a neighbor called to see if we all wanted to go bowling, I jumped at the chance. Have you ever been bowling with a two year old?? Needless to say it was an adventure! :) Addison had no concept of NOT going into the bowling lane so she would slip and slide all over the place. The manager was having fits as he watched us try and get her all the while saying, "Very dangerous, Very dangerous!". As if we didn't know going down the lane was a bad idea... Anyway - after watching her ball barely make it down the lane on several occassions, a few staff members decided to bring us a ramp device that would help Addi bowl better. It was a much smoother go of it from there... Until she got bored. Its safe to say that next time Addison will be staying home. :)
Micah, however, had a great time! He and his friend Aiden did a fabulous job of taking turns and cheering each other on. This was Micah's first time bowling for real (his only previous experience was via the Wii) and he did awesome! He broke 100 on his second game, which was almost better than some of the adults did (thanks to gutter guards)! It was a riot watching all the action (I didn't bowl since I am under doctor's orders to "take it very easy"). It was a great way to end what otherwise had been a very dreary, indoor day. :) My grandma would be proud!
Notice the split??
