Stay-Cation

**NOTE - Please see the post below this one too... This post was supposed to be second and the other one first... Blogger has a mind of its own sometimes. Anyway - I just didn't want anyone to miss my reason for not blogging as of late.. :)**

We decided to stay relatively close to home on vacation this year... This is what we spent the week doing...
Monday
We went out to breakfast, strawberry picking and to see Toy Story 3!

We picked 15# of berries in an hour before the girls got sick of sitting in the wagon.

The place we picked at also had a petting zoo. The kids loved the animals. Especially Carli. I think she is going to be a farmer when she grows up!

Carli 'talking' to the pigs. So funny! They could have licked her, she would get so close to their faces. Crazy girl!

Tuesday
We went to Michigan's Adventure where Micah rode his first roller coasters! He loved the Corkscrew but HATED Shivering Timbers. At least he was adventurous enough to try! :) (The only pictures we have of him on the coasters are the kind you buy at the end. He'll proudly show it to you if you ask though.)

Lunchtime!

Micah's first time driving. Notice how he is not looking at the road in front of him...

Enjoying some time in the shade.

And a snack...

Addison was a little more leery of riding rides...
She still doesn't know if she liked the Froghopper... This is before the ride started. :)

Wednesday
We stayed home and recuperated. :)
Thursday-Saturday
We went to OH to see family. Good times (when not traveling in the car listening to screaming babies)!Carli and Ella weren't sure of the big pool at my Aunt Patty's but they did love the pan of water we used to wash our feet off before getting in... Silly girls! Both of them are sitting in something the size of a cat litter box!

Micah LOVES swimming! I need to get him in lessons soon.

By the end of the day, Addison was almost asleep while swimming. She was SO tired but wouldn't get out to rest.

Cousin Toby did a great job corralling babies! We should have him around to do it more often!

Bud and Ann and some of the grandkids

Sunday we relaxed and prepared for the week ahead. It was such a great vacation! We can't wait until next time! :)
