A (Rainy) Day at Klackles Orchard

Today was Micah's first preschool field trip. We went to Klackles Orchard in Greenville. All the kids had a great time picking apples in the orchard and picking pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. Then the rain came... and came... and came... It poured! Everyone was soaking wet and cold. However, there are some covered areas there so we were able to play on a playground, drive tractor trikes and eat lunch all while staying out of the rain. Micah says he had a good time. But he also says it would have been more fun "if it hadn't been raining and my shoes weren't wet and muddy." One highlight for Micah was getting to ride a school bus for the first time. He loved it! Next time we'll just stay on the bus and out of the rain! :)

  1. Hey Brandi. I had a good time reading your blog and checking out your pictures. I am so excited for your twins. Seriously it is a blast and you are going to do great. I am so loving being home with the kids, even if they drive me crazy sometimes. Hope you're feeling well and soon you will be able to tell those kicks apart. I remember Lauren kicking so much and she was the mover and shaker of the two! Love ya, Trisha
